Tips for Designing Home Theater Systems

If you are planning to buy your own home theatre,you need some helpful infos for designing your own home theater systems.Today,there are different ranges of hometheatres that differ in style,price and size to suit everyones needs. You will find everything from compact sized, affordably priced choices to large, extravagant components. What's best for you depends on a variety of different factors including your personal preferences, your price range and the size of your theater room.

The first thing to consider when planning your theater is the screen. There are plenty of choices available. You can go for a traditional CRT screen, which offers good picture quality and is often quite affordable. The downside to these screens is the bulkiness and weight. In addition, they are limited in size. Another option is the flat screen. These screens come in plasma and LCD varieties and can be installed right onto the wall. Then there are projection style screens. These screens come in rear and front projection style and are unlimited when it comes to size. The average front style projector will cost you between $800 and $3000 depending on what features you want.

Then there's the audio. Surround sound is the most popular option, and requires a minimum of five speakers. If you hate dealing with wiring, go for a wireless set of speakers. You will want to position two speakers and the main speaker to the sides of the screen, two speakers on each side of the room, and at least one speaker in the back. This configuration provides for the most realistic audio experience. You can even get subwoofers installed in your seating, which doesn't add to the sound but vibrates the seat with the intensity of the sound.

Another part of designing home theater systems is choosing your seating. Types of seating include loungers, club chairs, sofas and sectionals. Seating can be simple or luxurious. Materials used for home theater seating include textiles like microfiber, leather, faux leather, suede, faux suede and more. Some seats come with extras like cup holders and the ability to recline. You will find home theater seating ranging in price from cheap to expensive. Finally, you will want to add realism to your theater room with some accessories. Framed movie posters, a popcorn maker and lighting running along the walls add a cinema-like ambience.
